Airpole

Airpoles are flexible (fiberglass) tubes used by the Bleu Man Group. When they are moved around in circles they make a \'swoosh\' sound. They are used in a lot of performances of the Blue Man Group and can be heard on the song \"Shadows Part 2\" or on their video \"The Complex Rock Tour\". The Blue Man Group refer to the Airpoles as \'found object instrument\' in contrast to invented intruments.

There are some different kind of Airpoles:
The Sword Airpoles are short and thin, which makes them easier to control and more versatile than the other Airpoles.
>The Angel Airpoles are made by connecting two poles at their thick ends.
Wiper Airpoles are extra long (up to 18 feet) which makes it possible to play the instruments at slower tempos.
