Playing the Building is a sound installation where a building is transformed into a clanging, vibrating sound sculpture. Several devices (selenoids, vibrators, ...) are attached to the structures in the building. All those devices are controlled by a organlike keyboard. The devices cause the building elements to vibrate, resonate and oscillate turning the building into a huge musical instrument.
